Filtering Tasks
Introduction
Ganttic allows you to Filter your Tasks, Projects, and Resources by title or by any Data Field values, enabling a quick and direct way to retrieve a filter’s information easily. Filters are available in Charts and Reports. Filtering Tasks is a good way to find out who's doing what or to make changes without having to find it in the Gantt chart area.Must-know about this feature
Filters can be saved to the view or used on the go as a search feature to quickly find a Task with a specific Data Field parameter. You can Filter Tasks using Task Titles or Data Field labels with IS (includes) or IS NOT (excludes) rules. Applying multiple filters is allowed.Filter Tasks
- Click on the Filter icon on the View Panel This will open the filtering section.
- Select a suitable Data Set (1) and Label (2) or use the Search Bar The rule list and search/label values will appear.
- Select the rule for the Filter from the list
- Hit "Apply" (temporary) or "Apply and Save" (permanent) This will apply the Filter and display the results in the Chart below.
- Click on the Filter icon You can find it on the View Panel.
- In the Filter dialog, click on the "X" or "Clear all" (in case of multiple filters)
